another snowman craft

If you are looking for a fast and easy craft to keep
your little ones busy...or to give to mom,
These 2x4 wooden drop snowmen are just the thing.

I made them with my school class a few years ago.
We had finished a building project
and had the "drops" on hand.

Just cut all the wood the same length.
lightly sand all surfaces.
Paint 3 coats of white acrylic paint.
Eyes and mouth were made with a finger dipped in black paint.
The noses I made from a piece of felt, rolled up and glued.
Glue buttons down the front and make a fleece scarf and hat.
(don't sew, just use hot glue)
Decorate with glitter dust and glued on foamies and
you have a cute gift.
Get the kids to write a cute Christmas Message on the back
and include the date.
You will want to remember the year that you
and the children did this project.

Let me know if you give it a try.

  3. Those are so adorable. I'm not a talented painter like you are but think I could manage those. I've saved the information and will try them after the holidays.

  4. Your snowmen are so festive...I have a slightly similar one my DIL bought at a craft fair years ago. You've inspired me to make one with my youngest granddaughter! Thanks Donna!
