Sweet Baby!

This Sweet Baby was delivered to me yesterday.
The owner lives a long way off but had some friends
bring her to me while they were on vacation.

We think she was made in the 1930's'
but we don't know for sure.

She is sad because she has no clothes.
She cannot come out in the open with nothing
on her muslin body.

She has come to me for dressing.

First, we measure and make a pattern.

Her shoulders were so saggy that I had
to make her some padding
to make her dress fit.

There, the bodice is finished and the bloomers
are just right.

Tomorrow she will get her skirt attached to her
dress and I'll make her a bonnet.

Her owner will make her shoes.

She will get some ribbon roses and some love and
she will be able to go home and
be displayed where everyone can see her!

She looks happier already!!
