Owls and Tomatoes

Well, what have I been doing this past week (plus)?

I finished the 14 owls.
I love them.
I plan to make some of these for myself
How about owls on the Christmas tree?

I bought another 25 lb. of tomatoes and
got busy canning them.

Wash the jars and boil the lids and rings.

Put the tomatoes in hot water for 5 minutes.
put in ice water for a few minutes and the skins peal right off.
Place your tomatoes in jars, add 1 tsp. of salt and
 put on lids and rings.
Put in canner with water covering them.
Boil for 45 minutes.
Take out and let cool.
Lids will seal themselves.

I also made 4 santas and 3 Raggedys.
I will save that for another post.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You named your blog correctly....:) I admire people like you who can accomplish so much and have a good time doing it. The owls are cute...and I can see them on a tree. Maybe you could make some Santa or angel owls.
