sinple Easter Craft

At my Wednesday night class at church
the kids made this Easter craft.

Grate some crayons on waxed paper and
put a second piece of waxed paper on top of the crayon crumbs.
Then go over it with a warm iron.
make a nice "stained glass" look.

Make a simple cross pattern and trace it on a paper plate.
We used white plates because that is what we already had,
but, a colored plate would look nice.

cut out a circle of  your waxed paper just about the size
of the middle circle of the plate.

Tape the waxed paper to the back of the plate.
Write some words.
It could be a verse or Jesus is risen or something
simple as I did.

We also used the hole punch and ribbon to make a
loop for hanging.

This is quick and easy and most of the materials
are easy to gather up.
