Catching up...The Sound of Music

Last weekend we were privileged to our grandson, Eric
perform in the Sound of Music.

As usual, there are no pictures in the show,
but the cast poses for pictures after the show.
Maria was wonderful.

This was the last bow of the standing ovation and
I snapped a photo of Eric getting ready to bow.

(I figured they wouldn't throw us out when it was over anyway)
These are the sweet little Von Trap sisters.
The newspaper ad from the Greenville, SC paper.

Here is Eric.
He played Kurt the smaller brother
in the Von Trap family.

Great Job Eric!!
We are proud of you!

  1. How exciting!!!!Great looking costumes.I love the proud smile on Eric's face. :)

    1. Eric is very proud of his acting.
He was such a practical joker that his parents gave him acting lessons to give him an outlet. lol...

  2. aww, that looks like a great show and a fun evening.
Did you help with those wonderful costumes?

I have a new blog, would love for you to visit if you have time.

    1. Rhonda, I am so glad you left a comment.
I saw your other blog was closing while I was out of town.
I really would miss you if you went away forever!
You and Debbie J were the first blogs I joined when I started my blog. Thanks for the invitation!! I'm a follower of your new blog.

    2. Oh, no I didn't make any costumes. This is a professional play and all costumes are made by the costume dept. of the production company.
