I am tired!
I have been working every day
(except Sunday)
for the past 2 weeks!
This is not good.
It makes me grouchy!!
So I asked not to be put on the work schedule so much.
Only 3 days a week, please.
I have a passion, It is to paint.
When I don't paint I get grouchy.
I painted this picture for my husband a few years ago.It is a favorite. I asked him what he'd name his boat...if he had one.
He said "Donna Lynn", so I named the boat in the painting the same.
This is a painting I did of the sand dunes near our house.
This woman is looking for her long lost love to return.
I really enjoyed painting this one.The pot turned out so nice.
I painted this for a co worker at the school where I worked.Her name is "Miss Moon" and she asked me to paint a
Van Gough type painting of the moon for her "moon" collection!!
I've got to get back to the canvas!!

Oh my.... so beautiful! I hope you find time to paint more very soon. I use to dabble in it, never lessons, and found it very relaxing. My husband is a great encourager and I wish I had more time to paint. I will. I quilt and now with my blog and keeping our home up here, there's just not enough hours in the day for me. However, for you..... I do hope you find the time.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love to paint as well...but haven't done so in a long time...however, now I have a canvas, oil paints, and brushes and am ready to start!!! I am used to painting with acrylics though...so I am nervous (but excited) about starting with the oils! I always loved to watch Bob Ross paint on TV!
ReplyDeleteI like them all, but especially the vase with flowers. That turned out just like I would like to have a vase of flowers in my home. Yes, you should get busy painting more!
