around the yard

I went outside early and took these pictures.
I think the pots are filling out nicely.
It has been hot and that means lot of watering.

I love flowers and sitting on the swing and reading.
I'm reading Laura Bushe's "From the Heart"
I really like her.
She seems like such a nice "down to earth" person.
The book is excellent.
It gives lots of insight to the presidency and what it is
like to live in the White House.

Summer is such a great time.
We will be getting so many visits from family
on their vacation.
We get to share all their fun!!

We have been having a great time at church lately.
AWANA is winding down.

Next week is VBS.
Don & I will have the 3rd & 4th grades.
(That is my favorite age to teach and
Don is my favorite teaching buddy)

What could be better than that?

Things are busy at the Thrift Store now,
sales are high and we are getting lots of donations.
Theres always lots to do.
