Shoe box packing party

Last Friday was our Packing Party for the
Samaritan's Purse Shoe boxes.

The members of our church donated
the items to go in the boxes.

The tables were set up
with the donated items in groups.

The directions were easy,
go and get a shoe box
then go around to all the tables and take items
to fill your box.

Pack your box the way you want it.

When you are finished take it to the table
where workers check it over and
label it for boy or girl and the age group.

Repeat many times until you have all the boxes
finished (or until the items run out).

The finished product was 226 boxes finished!
We ate pizza and cleaned up the fellowship hall
and felt really good about what we had accomplished!

Such a Blessing to be a part of a church that is always
busy helping others.
